Expart Career coaching instrumentsTo enrich your Expart career coach program we can offer the use of the several online career coaching instruments. We are licenced to use the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) and Career Planner, a tool developed by SNR Schouten and Nelissen.


MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator)

The MBTI instrument is the most well known personality assessment tool on the market. It is based on the theories of Jung and can be applied in multiple personal development and business situations. In combination with a career coach program it’s a very helpful instrument to broaden the understanding of your personality. It identifies an individual’s personality type and is made up of four basic preferences:

Extraversion(E) – Introversion(I)
Were you prefer to get or focus your energy

Sensing(S) – Intuition(N)
The kind of information you prefer to gather and trust

Thinking(T) – Feeling(F)
The process you prefer to use when making decisions

How you prefer to deal with the world around you

The understanding of your personal preferences will give you more self knowledge and insights in your qualities. It can help you decide what you want to do and how to improve your changes of getting what you want. This knowledge will also help you understand why other people are different, which can be very helpful is all kinds of situations.

Career planner

Career planner is an online tool developed by SNR Schouten and Nelissen, which can be used for personal development. The Career planner consists of:

Competency scan

With this scan we are able to measure the competencies chosen and you can receive 360o feedback trough the on line system.
The results are shown in the Competency Model designed by Schouten and Nelissen this model is based on 4 physiological fundaments:


Job Interest Test

This job interest test is based on the 6 human types, as defined by John Holland

– The Intellectual/Investigating type
– The Artistic/Creative type
– The Social/Welfare type
– The Entrepreneurial type
– The Realistic/Pragmatic type
– The Conventional/Controlling type

By doing the questionnaire you will discover your ‘Holland’ code. This code exists of 3 letters, starting with your most preferred type. The types are linked to job preferences and the results are shown in the SNR Competency model
